Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the product and market demand, stakeholder requirements and design the product feature and solution, coordinate with the technical team to develop the feature accordingly to meet the expectation. Establish the product roadmap as per the product vision. Assessing the change needs, analyze the impacts of change, document and support communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capture requirements needed to initiate a change in the information system. 

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Have the ownership of the product function, features and roadmap. 
  • Enhance to user experience and improve the features to bring excellence in routine work. 
  • Work as an interface among various stakeholder in term of requirement collection, capture, design, support develop, test and deliver. 
  • Frequently performing Business Process Mapping BPM for the required business solution and adapt process centric approach for the applications development. 
  • Using various tools and technique to format and simplify requirement in a way that suits to various level of stakeholder.  
  • Clear process definition, modeling, analysis and documentation of the cross-functional core business processes (As-is & To-be). 
  • Collecting the requirement and formalize in formal requirement documents for various stages like Context Diagram, Use Case Diagram, Sequence or Activity diagram, Object Diagram, Logical and physical ER diagram.  
  • Performing detail Gap analysis, Forward/Reverse Engineering. 
  • Perform solid prototyping/wireframing to visualize working design prior to move in development. 
  • Transform the requirement in well organize documents such as requirement traceability matrix, General Design, Architecture Design and Detail Functional Design documents that suit to the team require level of understanding of the system. 
  • Focus on the agility and Business Architecture layer while exploring and designing the functionality.  
  • Through understanding and experience of managing Agile (Scrum) and Lean (Kanban) methodology to manage the product development and team.  
  • Enhancing the quality of products, process and features as a product owner, 
  • Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models. 
  • Finding technological solutions to business requirements. 
  • Involve in project coordination activity and supporting the project manager. 
  • Involve in application architecture and technical design. 

Skill Require

  • Must have experience in managing the product (Academic, ERP, MRP, Property, QHSE domain etc.). 
  • Manage the product vision, product roadmap and align with market demand. 
  • Continuously Introduce competitive feature to stay product in market. 
  • Must have hands-on in Business Process Mapping (BPM) using Bizagi and Processmaker etc. 
  • Must have hands-on in requirement gathering, elicitation, design and documenting. 
  • Must use various modelling use to model the requirements such as EcoSystem Map, Context Diagram, Use case diagram, feature model, process flow, data flow diagram, interface model etc.  
  • Hand-on various techniques in collecting requirements such as 
  • Document Analysis, Facilitated Workshop, Focus Group and Prototyping (Storyboarding) etc.  
  • Draft SRS, Architecture Design, Detail Design and Technical Design documents etc. 
  • Domain Knowledge at least in ERP & MRP applications (HRMS, Finance, CRM, Manufacturing, Logistic, Warehouse, Property Management, QHSE and Acadmic etc.) 
  • Must have hand-on one of the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Zoho, Odoo or any other etc.). 
  • Have knowledge about the various technology involve in application development. (Prefer)  
  • Have software development knowledge and experience before.  
  • Hands-on in Functional Testing, Regression Testing and Integration Testing. 
  • Analytical Skill, creative and critical thinking, negotiation skill.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as business analyst role and out of these 2-3 years of experience (prefer) in software development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Computer Science/ Software Eng. / IT  
  • Must have Business Analysis Certification (CBAP) 
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) – Prefer  
  • Must have Professional Scrum Master (PSM) – Prefer 

Language

Fluent in English and Arabic. (Prefer Omani National)
