Business Analyst
Job Description
- Identify the business needs and requirements, analyze present data models, build data visualizations to track all project findings, explore different solutions, their risks, benefits and impacts
- Using data modelling techniques to identify ways in which an organization can operate more effectively
- Work closely with CEO, and partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: sales, finance, product development, merchandiser) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations
- Ensuring the changes are made – for example, by overseeing the implementation of new technology or a new approach.
- Run workshops and training sessions. Contributing to training and support for people affected by new systems and processes.
Skills
- Bachelor degree in information technology or computer science
- Experienced in analytics and systems development, generating process documentation and reports
- Commercial awareness with extensive experience in data collection, data visualization, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong technical and analytical skills, able to monitor market trends and keep track progress.
- Confidence working with complex data and systems, understanding of databases and networks.
- Good technical skills for statistical analysis software such as SQL databases, BI and reporting software, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage projects and user testing
- Good English communication and high proficiency in technical writing
