<ul><li>Understand business objectives: Collaborate with business leaders to gain a comprehensive understanding of organizational goals, challenges, and opportunities in order to assist portfolio identify potential IT solutions.</li><li>Work closely with portfolio or project manager to align business goals and requirements to potential solutions.</li><li>Initiate, drive and present product RFI process and outcomes.</li><li>Having a deep understanding of technology and being able to assess feasibility and do-ability of requirements.</li><li>Requirement gathering and analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to elicit and document detailed requirements that align with business objectives.</li><li>Stakeholder engagement: Engage with stakeholders at various levels, including executives, managers, and end-users, to identify their needs, expectations, and pain points to ensure effective communication and collaboration.</li><li>Solution design and evaluation: Develop innovative and feasible IT solutions that address identified requirements, considering factors such as cost, timeline, technical feasibility, and potential impact on the organization.</li><li> Documentation and communication: Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories, to facilitate clear communication between business and technical teams.</li><li> Project management: Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring successful project execution and completion.</li><li> Testing and quality assurance: Collaborate with the testing team to ensure thorough testing of IT solutions, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure high-quality deliverables.</li><li> Change management: Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions, user adoption, and effective utilization of implemented IT solutions.</li><li> Continuous improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide innovative ideas and recommendations for continuous improvement of IT systems and processes.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.</li><li>Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP), are highly desirable</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.</li><li>Experience in Oil &amp; Gas industry is good to have but not mandatory.</li><li>Proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements, performing gap analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions.</li><li>Experience in project management, including scoping, planning, and executing projects within defined timelines and budgets.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.</li><li>Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.</li><li>Proficiency in using business analysis tools, such as process modeling, requirement management, and project management software.</li></ul>
