<p><strong>Position Overview: </strong></p><p>As a Bodyshop Collision Centre Trainer, your primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive training and development programs to collision center employees. Your goal is to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. You will closely collaborate with the management team to identify training needs, design effective programs, and deliver them. Additionally, you will monitor the team’s progress and performance. This role aims to enhance employee skills, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and contribute to the overall success of the Bodyshop collision center, all while maintaining a strong customer-centric approach.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>1 .<strong>Training Program Development:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with the management team to assess training needs and develop a comprehensive plan.</li><li>Design, develop, and deliver training programs that address the specific requirements of collision centre employees, including technicians, estimators, painters, and other relevant roles.</li><li>Create training materials, manuals, and resources to support the delivery of training programs.</li><li>Utilize various training methodologies, including classroom instruction, hands-on workshops, e-learning, and job shadowing, to ensure effective learning experiences.</li></ul><p><strong>2 .Training Delivery:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for collision center employees, covering safety procedures, repair techniques, customer service, and industry-specific software.</li><li>Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new employees, ensuring they understand and adhere to established collision repair processes and standards.</li><li>Incorporate practical exercises, simulations, and real-life scenarios to reinforce learning outcomes.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate trainee performance during and after training sessions, providing feedback and support for improvement.</li></ul><p><strong>3 .Performance Assessment and Feedback:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and administer assessment tools, such as, practical exams, to evaluate trainee knowledge and skills.</li><li>Analyze training results and provide constructive feedback, identifying areas of improvement and recommending further training if necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with the management team to establish performance metrics and benchmarks for collision center employees, guiding individual performance goals.</li></ul><p><strong>4.Continuous Improvement:</strong></p><ul><li>Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to collision repair and training methodologies.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements within the collision centre and propose training interventions to address them.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training programs align with organizational goals and business objectives.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Extensive experience (6+ years) in the collision repair industry, with a solid understanding of body shop operations and repair techniques.</li><li>Proven training and development experience, focusing on delivering effective and engaging training programs.</li><li>Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards and safety protocols.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.</li><li>Proficiency in using various training tools and software, including learning management systems (LMS), multimedia presentations, and virtual training platforms.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple training projects simultaneously.</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed.</li><li>Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed in their roles.</li></ul>
