Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity<br><br>The role of the (Building Management System – BMS Engineer) is to be responsible for the robust design and estimation processes that result in high-quality and cost-competitive bids, ultimately contributing to the success of sales efforts and the achievement of regional sales targets for Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS). Additionally, the incumbent will oversee BMS work packages and the preparation of technical submittals throughout the design, engineering, and validation phases. This role requires a strong focus on delivering optimal solutions, meeting regional requirements, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all project documentation.<br><br><strong><u>Skills<br></u></strong><ul><li>Estimation BMS: Conduct input studies, generate RFIs, select devices, design solutions, prepare cost estimates, and create cable schedules.</li><li>Proposals: Study specifications, compile lists, and prepare technical proposals.</li><li>Technical submittals: Prepare system architecture and ensure compliance with regional requirements.</li><li>Commercial exposure: Manage vendors and handle taxation.</li><li>Regional technical preferences: Contribute to and track preferences, apply knowledge of products to develop solutions.</li><li>Quality checks: Ensure job accuracy and adherence to standards.</li><li>Process establishment: Contribute to establishing new processes for cost optimization.</li><li>System integrations: Develop and implement high-level integrations.</li><li>Business processes and systems: Possess knowledge in this area.</li><li>Competitive insights: Provide insights and counter strategies.</li><li>Technical support: Offer support as needed.</li><li>Verification of designs: Verify control systems and project documentation.<br></li></ul>YOU MUST HAVE<br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in ELV Systems, Information Technology, Instrumentation & Control, or Electronics & Electrical Engineering (Preferred).</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a relevant field.</li><li>Exposure to BMS, Fire, Security, and ELV Systems.</li><li>Flexible working hours to accommodate regional requirements.</li><li>Knowledge of pre-sales processes.</li><li>Ability to manage jobs and projects within standards and budgets.</li><li>Value-engineered approach to deliverables.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word).</li><li>Advanced understanding of HVAC processes, Building Automation, Energy Management, or LV systems.</li><li>Advanced knowledge and understanding of Honeywell products and software.</li><li>Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings and symbols.</li><li>Ability to analyze system drawings and schematics.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of standard communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LON, and SNMP.</li><li>Good knowledge of web services and APIs is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with different system databases (SQL, Postgre, etc.).<br></li></ul>WE VALUE<br><ul><li>Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle.</li><li>Individuals who can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.</li><li>Diverse and global teaming and collaboration.</li><li>Effective communication skills.</li><li>Self-motivated individuals who can work with little supervision and consistently take initiative.</li><li>Ability to adapt to project changes.</li><li>Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to manage complicated tasks.</li><li>Some engineering experience.<br></li></ul>Additional Information<br><ul><li>JOB ID: HRD199859</li><li>Category: Engineering</li><li>Location: Taha Hussein St, Cairo Festival City-fifth settlement,,Building A2, Southern, level2,New Cairo,CAIRO,171-11835,Egypt</li><li>Exempt</li></ul><li></li> Global (ALL)
