<strong>Requisition ID: <strong>269971</strong></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Relocation Authorized: National – Camp </li><li> Telework Type: Full-Time Office/Project </li><li> Work Location: Sharma </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Project Description</u></strong><p><br></p>NEOM Project Summary: Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company will provide executive project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of certain defined aspects of the NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<p><br></p>NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq. mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.<p><br></p>NEOM will be the home and workplace to more than a million residents from around the world. It will include towns and cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations. As a hub for innovation, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and companies will come to research, incubate, and commercialize new technologies and enterprises in groundbreaking ways.<p><br></p><strong><u>Detailed Job Description Summary</u></strong><p><br></p>The Project BIM Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementing of the BIM 360 collaboration environment on the project and support the work processes for the design reviews and BIM compliance of models and drawings from the consultants and contractors. The Project BIM Specialist responsibilities include the setup and maintenance of other systems that support the project CAD and BIM Execution Plans, Model Interface Management, Issues Management, 4D (schedule) and 5D (quantities) and other BIM use cases.<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Duties</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Understand and implement solutions in support of the project BIM strategy, exchange requirements, Asset Information Requirements and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).</li><li> Develop and review CAD and 3D Revit and C3D model templates for standardizing the deliverables.</li><li> Ensuring coordination of BIM activities (i.e., coordinate systems, standard templates, clash management, design review, etc) and resources are shared and complied with among the design consultants and contractors.</li><li> Proficiency with BIM360 and setting up workflows and reporting.</li><li> Proficiency with NavisWorks and interference management.</li><li> Manage the hand-off of milestone models and templates to consultants and contractors per the project design and contracting work packaging strategy.</li><li> Support training of all stakeholders of the BIM360 Docs and associated workflows to support the delivery of the project key processes.</li><li> Supports the regular assessments of the consultants and contractors to review the implementation of their respective BIM &amp; GIS Execution Plans (BGEP) and their compliance with the project execution strategy, and to seek opportunities for improvement.</li><li> Serves as a liaison between design subcontractors, construction, SMEs and IT for resolution of BIM related issues and answer TQs.</li><li> Supports estimating and construction in developing standard processes for the reporting of design quantity take-offs, enables construction quantity reporting processes and forecasting by the EPM.</li><li> Supports the development of progress, quality and other reports and dashboards for project management from BIM 360.</li><li> Facilitate design and construction reviews and coordination, and manages issue/action logs.</li><li> Communicate with design consultants and contractors and contribute to BIM meetings and discussions.</li><li> Liaise with off-project functional BIM team for training and development, knowledge sharing, management and lessons learned.</li><li> Participate in the quality reviews of deliverables (3D/2D), model coordination meetings and related meetings.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications/Experience Essential Technical Skills</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management with minimum 5 years of experience in Highway, Rail Design/Construction projects and with minimum 3 years’ experience as a BIM/CAD Specialist in design and construction.</li><li> Proficiency in Civil3D together with AutoCAD, Revit.</li><li> Industry BIM Certification (preferred).</li><li> Must have working knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley 3D/BIM authoring Platforms including features, functions, and limitations.</li><li> Working knowledge and proficiency with the following: Collaboration and data management solutions: BIM 360 Suite, Navisworks, 3D/BIM-enabled quantity takeoff and BIM-enabled estimating tools (Assemble, CostX, etc)</li><li> Understanding of project work processes from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination.</li><li> Proficient in English oral and written communications skills.</li><li> Collaborates well in a team environment</li><li> Ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Essential Behavioral Skills</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills (oral and written).</li><li> Willingness to relocate to the job site in Saudi Arabia.</li><li> Proactive, supportive, inquisitive, challenging and result driven.</li><li> Hard working and motivated with high self-initiative.</li><li> Ability to manage multiple job assignments, changing priorities and work with ambiguity.</li><li> Help others and receive help from others in achieving goals.</li><li> Acknowledge and value contribution from other team members.</li><li> Promote the creation of a work environment, supported by leadership, which fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Shaping tomorrow together</strong><p><br></p><strong>Bechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
