Atkins in the middle east now employs around 2,000 staff serving gulf clients across all market sectors from offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, And Sharjah.<br><br>We are currently looking for a number of <strong>BIM Coordinator (Buildings)</strong> with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.<br><br><strong><u>Qualifications And Technical Competencies<br></u></strong><ul><li>Experience in working with both consultants/contractors.</li><li>Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 &amp; 500 BIM models.</li><li>Will ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM modelling and the collaboration and coordination with other disciplines for design-changes and model challenges.</li><li>Experience working in the Built Environment, in all discipline.</li><li>Monitor and validate As-Built model tagging with all related project documents e.g. The H&amp;S file(s) and O&amp;M manual(s) etc.</li><li>Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.</li><li>Support BIM manager and project delivery team(s) in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.</li><li>Support BIM manager with planning and construction activities with proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting.</li><li>Provide progress and performance updates to BIM manager on fortnightly and monthly basis.</li><li>Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.</li><li>Must have solid understanding CDE platforms like BIM 360/ProjectWise.</li><li>Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Model (AIM) with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) requirements for eg. Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBIE) and/or client specific requirements.</li><li>Providing Coordination reports of the interfaces between engineering disciplines / design and construction / temporary and permanent works design activities, through the BIM process</li><li>Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.</li><li>Collaborate and coordinate with the BIM manager design-changes and model challenges.</li><li>Work closely with the BIM Manager to support the in-house architectural, general engineering, and civil design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training</li><li>Understanding of Dynamo BIM is necessary.</li><li>Coaching and mentoring training for project team related to BIM applications.</li><li>Technically capable of handling point cloud data.</li><li>Ability to work with Autodesk ReCAP Pro.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Experience (essential)<br></u></strong><ul><li>A degree, ideally in Architecture, Structure, Mechanical or equivalent</li><li>A minimum of 10 years BIM experience</li><li>Proven building project experience</li><li>Manage / Update BIM Project Documents</li><li>3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification</li><li>Monitoring 4D (Time/Planning) &amp; 5D (Cost) BIM deliverable as per the baseline program</li><li>4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks and experience with Primavera P6 preferred</li><li>Experience working in a Design Consultancy and / or Contractor</li><li>Extensive experience in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks &amp; AutoCAD, Civil 3D</li><li>Advance understanding of creating Revit families</li><li>Working knowledge of Information Standards ISO 19650 (Parts 1 &amp; 2 at a minimum), PAS 1192, BS1192, MIDP and TIDP creation and MIDP Automation</li><li>Knowledge of CDE platforms (BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex)</li><li>Experience conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage</li><li>Experience creating/tailoring project setups to suit the client</li><li>Candidate must have worked on large scale projects.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Rewards &amp; Benefits<br><br></u></strong>We offer an excellent package which includes:<br><ul><li>A competitive salary</li><li>Transportation allowance</li><li>Medical and life insurance cover</li><li>26 calendar days annual leave</li><li>Company gratuity scheme</li><li>Discretionary bonus scheme</li><li>Annual flight allowance to point of origin</li></ul>
