<strong>Description<br></strong><strong>Role purpose: <br></strong>To read, analyze and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data, and develop Business Analytics, Ad-hoc Reporting, Reports, Dashboards and Descriptive Modelling and participate in IT/Commercial projects and choose the best possible design from the DWH and BI perspective.<br><br><strong>Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership<br></strong><ul><li> Achieve the agreed objectives in light of the Business Intelligence strategy </li><li> Act as SPOC with Account Management teams for the new projects </li><li> Manage the projects internally within Business Intelligence team to achieve the business requirements within the agreed timelines with high quality </li><li> Responsible for the design, development and on-going support of reporting &amp; analytical solutions and descriptive models for the business community within the reporting environment </li><li> Use range of technologies to make data easy accessible to business users through building Self-BI environment and Dashboards </li><li> Maintain and distribute business reports library and reports metadata </li><li> Perform the business analysis and document the specification of business information requests </li><li> Work closely with modelling and Data Management team members for building the new models that serves the business requests </li><li> Design and Apply data validation strategies; report design and development; security development; end user training; software deployment; and all other facets of a complete system development life cycle </li><li> Participate effectively in setting the data governance and reporting strategies that reduce data redundancy wherever possible </li><li> Provides input to long-range data warehousing plans &amp; designs current ETL systems to be in alignment with those long-range objectives </li><li> Work with a team of developers through architecture, design, build, test, and enhancement of corporate business intelligence solutions </li><li> Design, code, test and document appropriate data processes, stored procedures or reporting &amp; analytic applications using industry proven ‘best-practices’ </li><li> Develop outline design and reports; Create necessary objects to meet report requirements </li><li> Develop and execute unit, system integration, and user acceptance test plans and plays an active role in project rollouts </li><li> Investigate and assist in the resolution of any day-to-day application issues </li><li> Comply with new company Governance, Business Intelligence Standards, Data Standards and Data Warehouse Methods and Procedures in the delivery </li><li> Identify opportunities for sharing and re-using information through the team knowledge base </li><li> Act promptly on the reporting issues that is assigned to the second level of support team </li><li> Recommend approaches, lead design and create solid technical solutions for complex business scenarios </li></ul><li><br><br></li><strong>Core competencies, knowledge and experience <br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor Degree in computer science and/or computer engineering </li><li> From 0-3 years’ experience in BI domain with good knowledge of BI development and technologies </li><li> Excellent knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL </li><li> Good Knowledge of BI analytical/reporting tools (SAP BO, Tableau, Power BI) </li><li> Knowledge of telecom industry standards and technologies is preferred </li><li> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written mainly in English </li><li> Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making </li><li> Service Management Lifecycle knowledge </li><li> Proven modifications and enhancements applied in the design to current application </li><li> Proven modifications and enhancements applied to business design <br><br></li></ul><strong>Must have technical / professional qualifications: <br></strong> B.SC of Computer Science or Computer Engineering.<p><br></p> Master degree in BI related fields is a plus.<p><br></p> Experience in Business Intelligence field/tools.<p><br></p> Certificates in BI related fields is a plus.
