<strong>Data Governance Specialist Role Description:<br></strong><ul><li> Conduct complex data analysis and modeling to support technical decisions and needs</li><li> Be a go-to subject matter expert and educator around the meaning, purpose, use and understanding of our data</li><li> Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, stakeholders and customers to discover needs and define quality requirements and goals on DWH models</li><li> Create and maintain technical documentation and metadata, especially for DWH data assets </li><li> Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, communicating insights, findings and recommendations from Subject Areas quality</li><li> Orchestrate and maintain complex data pipelines, catalogs, reports and dashboards using data platform tools to server KPIsβ representation</li><li> Design, implement and test complex data integrations and transformation processes with nascent data sources while having a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, reliability and relevance </li><li> Proactively triage operational alarms, exceptions, and failures while driving to the root cause, communicating with the right parties, contributing to the resolution, and making improvements to prevent the problem from recurring </li><li> Identify areas for improvements on Data Life Cycle and recommend solutions with rest of DWH team & support </li><li> Develop and implement best practices, policies and procedures for data governance, data security, and data privacy with contribution of CDG program</li><li> Mentor junior Data Gov. analyst member<br><br></li></ul><strong>Technical needs:<br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics </li><li> 3+ years of experience in data analysis or related field </li><li> Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools</li><li> Proficiency with data modeling, ELT, schema design, and data warehousing</li><li> Proficiency with statistical analysis techniques and problem-solving techniques</li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li> Ability to work independently as well as part of a team</li><li> Be someone who stays up to date with emerging technologies and best practices and encourages your team to do the same</li><li> Experience mentoring technologists</li></ul>
