<p>Trace Hospitality is an emerging Food & Beverage focused on providing services in restaurant management, hospitality, and catering.</p><p><br></p><p>Trace has always had a simple yet meaningful vision, to support the hospitality sector within Abu-Dhabi and the UAE by visualizing and developing creative concepts that people can genuinely enjoy as well as support everyone enthusiastic about starting a business but need guidance on their journey.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Bakery Chef, you are responsible for operating the Bakery section of the kitchen while working closely with the Operations Manager. A Bakery Chef will also be required to plan production and develop seasonal offerings.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsible to create high-quality Bakery dishes with standard recipes and presentations to maintain quality standards and consistency of product. Also, assist in the production and maintenance of par stocks of the Bakery with proper rotation of products and maintain the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bakery section.</p><p><br></p><p>As an ideal candidate, you should have a strong background in culinary arts and a genuine passion for creating delectable treats.</p><p><br></p><p>Your commitment to upholding health and safety standards is crucial to ensuring the highest quality of service to our company and clients.</p><p><br></p><p>By delivering exceptional culinary experiences, we aim to enhance customer satisfaction and foster the growth of our business.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Manages all day-to-day operations of the bakery section of the kitchen.</p><p><br></p><p>Prepare a wide variety of goods such as pies, bread, etc. following traditional and modern recipes.</p><p><br></p><p>Able to produce all baked goods including but not limited to artisan bread and rolls, muffins, laminated Danish, laminated croissants and doughnuts, etc.</p><p><br></p><p>Able to develop, design, or creates new ideas and items for Bakery Kitchen.</p><p><br></p><p>Follows proper handling and the right temperature of all food products.</p><p><br></p><p>Coordinates activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.</p><p><br></p><p>Supervise and coordinate all Bakery preparation and presentation.</p><p><br></p><p>Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.</p><p><br></p><p>Assists in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.</p><p><br></p><p>Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc., and make appropriate orders within budget.</p><p><br></p><p>Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.</p><p><br></p><p>Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to the supervisor immediately.</p><p><br></p><p>Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.</p><p><br></p><p>Must possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and cooperate with co-workers efficiently and effectively.</p><p><br></p><p>Able to recognize superior quality products, presentations, and flavors.</p><p><br></p><p>Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.</p><p><br></p><p>Operates and maintains all department equipment and reports malfunctions.</p><p><br></p><p>Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What Are We Looking For</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Proven minimum of 5 experience as Bakery Sous Chef.</p><p><br></p><p>Great attention to detail and creativity</p><p><br></p><p>Organizing and leadership skills</p><p><br></p><p>Willingness to replenish professional knowledge</p><p><br></p><p>In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition</p><p><br></p><p>Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations.</p><p><br></p><p>Certificate in culinary arts, baking, or relevant field</p>
