<p><strong>Job Purpose: <br><br></strong></p><p>Value & Reporting Technology Portfolio Associate Vice President is accountable for collecting demand, reviewing business cases, monitoring portfolio budget and spend, and tracking value for the Technology portfolio. The AVP will work closely with the Value & Reporting VP to support in reporting the financial and nonfinancial metrics to senior management committees.<br><br></p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities: <br><br></strong></p><p><strong>Responsible for collecting demands for the Technology portfolio<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Orchestrates yearly portfolio planning and demand management across Technology portfolio with Portfolio Head(s) and ensures all deadlines are met</li><li>Educates Technology teams on adopting a holistic demand prioritization process which is based on quantifying the value of a project through financial metrics (Budget, Benefits, Timelines), non-financial metrics (Enterprise Architecture, ESG, and Customer Experience), and compliance (regulatory and audit), among other metrics.</li><li>Works with Architecture Manager VP and Portfolio Head(s) to ensure Technology demand and projects are in line with the Enterprise Architecture target state.</li><li>Reviews the Technology demand and proactively shares feedback with the Portfolio Heads for refinement.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsible for reviewing Technology business cases<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Reviews the Business Case Documents (BCD) shared by Technology team for each project.</li><li>Validates the financial and value metrics that are part of the BCD.</li><li>Shares final BCD with Group Finance for approval.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsible for monitoring portfolio budget and spend<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Tracks and reports the utilized budget with respect to planned budget for the Technology portfolio. Highlight any faced or expected risks.</li><li>Tracks and reports the realized benefits of the Technology portfolio with respect to expected benefits. Highlights any faced or expected risks.</li><li>Works with the Portfolio Heads and Group Finance to refine or update the benefit targets or expected budget spend.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsible for tracking and reporting value<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Ensures smooth transition once a project has launched to initiate value tracking.</li><li>Reports value and financial KPIs across all Technology projects that have gone live/started within Technology Portfolio.</li></ul><p><br><br><br><br></p><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Mandatory: University Degree in Finance or equivalent</li><li>Preferred: MBA or equivalent masterβs degree</li><li>Total Finance experience of 8+ years</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in financial management of technology programs/ projects (Banking projects is a plus)</li><li>Experience in managing the team size of 2-5 people.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Expertise in financial management and budgets</li><li>Experience of working with cross functional team</li><li>Good stakeholder management capability and working with senior management.</li><li>Excellent presentation and communication skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; PowerPoint, Excel, etc.</li><li>Experience with data handling and analysis tools such as Power BI</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and deliver within tight deadlines.</li><li>Willing to learn, collaborate, go the extra mile, and demonstrate high level of integrity with ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately.</li><li>Supervises, coaches, and develops junior team members.</li><li>Demonstrates high level of integrity and ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately.</li></ul>
