Job Description

  • Promote sales of correct auto parts to repair customer issues with the vehicle in-store, and keep an up-to-date record of all transactions made.
  • Follow prescribed cash, credit and check processing procedures for merchandise, as per company policy.
  • Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
  • Assisted with inventory management and verify that all parts are correctly stocked and displayed for optimal visibility and accessibility.
  • Label different parts based on their function and price using predetermined methods for organization and documentation.
  • Measure parts, using precision measuring instruments to determine whether similar parts may be machined to required size.
  • Assist customers in selecting the correct parts for their vehicle.
  • Sell auto and truck parts to customers in both the wholesale and retail markets.
  • Handle inventory management and restocking, warehousing the parts, computer entry for inventory purposes, as well as shipping and receiving payment.
  • Assist retail and commercial customers, both at the counter and over the phone, in determining product needs.
  • Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers’ descriptions of malfunctions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledgeable and able to identify automotive parts based on their names and functions
  • At least 2 years work experience as sales representative in auto shop
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
  • Able to join immediately
