We are working with a Major Oil &amp; Gas operator to source an AUT Inspector<p><br></p><ul><li>Pipelines. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis.</li></ul><p><br></p>Please see details below. Title: AUT Inspector<p><br></p><ul><li>Pipelines Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice) target start 01st of July 2023</li></ul><p><br></p>Duration: 36 Months Location: Offshore / Onshore Working Schedule:<p><br></p>Work hours per day: 12 hrs./day<p><br></p>Workdays per Week: 7 days/week<p><br></p>Workday per Month: 28 days/month<p><br></p>Onshore 10% / Offshore 90%<p><br></p>Rota 28 days on/28 days off<p><br></p>Job Accountabilities: Responsible for surveillance / inspection / monitoring of NDT activities on carbon steel girth welds. Scope includes offshore pipeline installation, verifying compliance with Technical Requirements and Project Specifications, verifying all AUT scans prior to weld being accepted.<p><br></p>Advise Contractor and Company of any non-conformance to the Technical Requirement and Project Specifications.<p><br></p>Verify that the scope of work is completed in accordance with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards.<p><br></p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications And Experience Required</u></strong><p><br></p>Level 2 in AUT and MUT, MT and ToFD desirable.<p><br></p>Degree or associate degree in a related discipline e.g., mechanical or materials.<p><br></p>Valid offshore medical and BOSIET<p><br></p>10+ years relevant experience with AUT using PipeWizard system.<p><br></p>Significant experience in working as client representative on pipe laying projects.<p><br></p>Experience of working with ECA based acceptance criteria.<p><br></p>Experience of AUT of fatigue sensitive welds<p><br></p>Able to perform, comply, audit, and make assessments of Safety Management System (Advance Safety Auditing, Behaviour Safety System, JSA’s, act) and have competency in safety procedures.<p><br></p>Knowledge of health and safety systems e.g., Job Hazard Analysis, permit to work, safety auditing.<p><br></p>Knowledge and experience in monitoring quality control activities in fabrication shops and yards, onshore and offshore facilities.<p><br></p>Have detailed knowledge of DNV ST-F101<p><br></p>Able to issue and follow up non-conformity Report.<p><br></p>Able to provide oversight, mentorship, and supervision of AUT/NDT inspectors.<p><br></p>Able to understand the commonly used standards, codes, and industry practices within a particular discipline.<p><br></p>Experience of working on lay barges<p><br></p>Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.<p><br></p>Able to interface with other disciplines at the various stages.<p><br></p>Candidates shall be required to perform a competence test involving interpretation of AUT scans with defects.
