<strong>Job Overview:</strong> We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager who will be the Asst. The Restaurant Manager for one of our client. The Restaurant Manager will provide our guests with consistently high-quality dining experiences, and an unmatched motivation to supervisor, and other peers.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Oversees the dining area and supervises food and beverage service staff in accordance with client operating policies that he or she may help establish.</li><li>Taking the lead and responsibilities on restaurant sales in terms of target achievement.</li><li>Taking a lead on business development, i.e., designing and implementing strategic sales that expand customer base and ensure a strong client presence.</li><li>Creates a positive team atmosphere among Team Members.</li><li>Maintains records of staff periodic manner and operating costs.</li><li>Provides feedback and coaching to the FOH team regularly.</li><li>Understands building capability through Cross training.</li><li>Treats all Team Members fairly, and with respect.</li><li>Works with FOH staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures.</li><li>Handle guest complaints in restaurants.</li><li>Schedules periodic food and beverage service staff meetings to ensure the correct interpretation of policies and obtain feedback from staff members.</li><li>Maintain budget and employee records, prepare timesheets, and monitor bookkeeping records.</li><li>Keep a regular check on ordering/receiving supplies such as tableware, cutlery, and other items.</li><li>Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services.</li><li>Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at the end of the day.</li><li>Ensures new products are executed properly during the following roll-out.</li><li>Is capable of handling irate customers with a friendly/calm attitude.</li><li>Ensures product quality and great service.</li><li>Shows enthusiasm about guests within the restaurant.</li><li>Is flexible in dealing with changes/problems (e.g., being short-staffed).</li><li>Shifts priorities and goals as work demands change.</li><li>Priorities tasks effectively to ensure most important tasks are completed on time.</li><li>Delegates and follow-up effectively.</li><li>Taking Ownership of issues or tasks and also giving detailed updates to Department Manager.</li><li>Coaches team on how to exceed Guest expectations.</li><li>Effectively identifies restaurant problems through daily manager reports and can ideate & execute to resolve the same.</li><li>Proficiency in using computer software to monitor inventory, track staff schedules and pay, and perform other record-keeping tasks.</li><li>Proficiency in Point of sale (POS) software, inventory software, Restaurant guest satisfaction tracking software etc.</li><li>Assist in planning regular and special events.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications & Experiences: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management.</li><li>Minimum 3+ years of relevant Asst. Restaurant Manager experience in hotels/restaurants (Sales background highly preferred).</li><li>Minimum 8+ Years of relevant Restaurant Supervisor experience in hotels/restaurants.<br></li></ul>
