<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Associate Highway Engineer </strong><p><br></p><strong>Dubai, UAE </strong><p><br></p><em>We have an opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Highway Engineer with basic knowledge of highway design to complement our growing highways team in Dubai. You will become an integral part of a respected and ambitious team, and the role will provide every opportunity for you to make your mark and influence the continuing sustainable growth of Parsons in Dubai and further afield. </em><p><br></p><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Perform a variety of highway engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques for road and highway design and analyses within road discipline</li><li>The Highway Engineer at this level is in a developmental mode, being trained under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and gaining exposure to Company procedures</li><li>Assignment may be to a structured rotational program which would include experience in Project Controls, Procurement, and Construction Management, as well as through several disciplines in Engineering</li><li>Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications</li><li>Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Required Skills You’ll Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in highway engineering</li><li>Internship/Work experience in highway design/engineering with experience using civil 3D</li><li>Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.</li><li>Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is also required.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start</u></strong><p><br></p>Not Applicable/None<p><br></p>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
