A client recently told Legal500 that our “passion to develop relationships and familiarise themselves with our working practices gives us utmost confidence that the legal advice being given is always aligned with our business objectives.”<br><br><strong><u>About The Role<br><br></u></strong>We are seeking construction disputes lawyers, from Associate to Senior Associate, to be based in Doha.<br><br>You will work for a range of different clients including contractors and other market participants on some of the region’s most high profile, valuable, and complex litigation, and arbitrations.<br><br>The nature and size of the team will mean that you will be heavily involved in all aspects of matters. Within a supportive environment, this allows you the autonomy and development opportunity to drive and make a significant contribution to the matter outcome.<br><br>Further, you will be encouraged to foster and generate client relationships and will have the opportunity to engage in business development frequently.<br><br><strong><u>Skills And Experience<br><br></u></strong>You will enjoy working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team and be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:<br><ul><li>Solid construction disputes experience gained at a reputable law firm.</li><li>A proven track record in taking a lead role in complex and high value disputes.</li><li>Arbitration experience is preferred but is not essential.</li><li>A working knowledge of the:</li><ul><li>legal and contractual issues that commonly arise on construction disputes; and</li><li>dispute resolution processes and the preparation of cases before relevant decision-making bodies.</li></ul><li>A strong academic background.</li><li>The willingness to assume responsibility and take a pro-active and commercial approach to issues.</li><li>The ability to work in a team and autonomously.</li><li>Drive, enthusiasm, and flexibility.<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>About The Firm<br><br></u></strong>Clyde &amp; Co is a leading global law firm, specialising in the sectors that underpin global trade and commercial activity, namely: insurance, transport, construction, energy, trade and commodities.
