Rixos Qetaifan Island North
Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.
Assistant Talent & Culture Manager
Within the general guidelines given by the management, Assistant Talent & Culture Manager represents for assisting the Talent & Culture Manager in the smooth running of the Talent & Culture function, ensuring best practice is followed at all times.

What you will be doing:
- Review and update Talent & Culture policies and procedures and other human resources materials
- Monitor present and future trends in the local labour situation, social legislation and make recommendations to the management
- Monitor the administration of the Performance Appraisal Program and act in an advisory capacity to department heads in such process
- Ensure that all employees comply with the Water Park policies and procedures as well as government regulations pertaining to employment practice
- Assist in preparing and submitting periodic Talent & Culture reports to management
- Assist in preparation and issue of correspondences relating to the Talent & Culture department
- Investigate and review all disciplinary actions to ensure the actions are complying with the labor law, rules and regulations. Discuss with department heads an appropriate action and recommend the final results in consultation with the Director of Talent & Culture
- Oversee the organization and execution of employees’ social, athletic and recreational activities
- Maintain a good working relation with all departments and all professional external contacts
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment procedures and strategies to attract the most qualified candidates for the position
- Analyse the manpower requirements
- Coordinate with the hiring managers on the recruitment of qualified personnel based on approval by the divisional head and Managing Director, following established standards, policies and procedures
- Conduct recruitment and exit interviews
- Maintain good working relationships and partnerships with recruitment agencies / sources
- Interview, select and recruit direct reports
- Identify and develop team members with potential
- Conduct performance review and manages performance issues that arise within the team
- Constantly monitor team members performance, attitude and degree of professionalism
- Assist in developing, conducting and maintaining all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business
Your experience and skills include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management / Water Park Management
- Minimum 3 years of Human Resources Management experience
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and customer contact skills
- Results and service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- A team player & builder
- A motivator & self-starter
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
