<p>Upstream have been retained by an international oil & gas business based in Dubai with their search for an Assistant Sales Manager. You will be predominantly responsible for contract management of new / existing accounts and also take initiative of new business development.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Main purpose of job:</u></strong></p><p>• To coordinate technical and commercial responses to customer queries and be the focal point for all communication between suppliers and technical consultants.</p><p>• Execute and develop regional and specific customer sales strategies in line with companies mid-long-term targets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Main responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p>• Primary responsibility will be to coordinate technical and commercial responses to customer queries and be the focal point for all communication between suppliers and technical consultants.</p><p>• Work independently to support customers daily needs, using experience and own judgement to solve problems and build meaningful relationships at a high level of customer service satisfaction. (Existing and new client base)</p><p>• Maintaining and contributing to the development of existing customer(s) digital platforms.</p><p>• Maintain close communication and understanding of companies’ field service team activities to enhance potential services offering in country and create a more value-added service to customers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Contract Management Responsibilities (60% of the role)</u></strong></p><p>• Coordinate technical and commercial responses to customer queries and be the focal point for all communication between suppliers and technical consultants.</p><p>• Work independently to support customers daily needs, using experience and own judgement to solve problems and build meaningful relationships at a high level of customer service satisfaction.</p><p>• Maintaining and contributing to the development of the customers digital platforms.</p><p>• Maintain close communication and understanding of companies’ field service team activities to enhance potential services offering in country and create a more value-added service to customers.</p><p>• Required to support and lead project tasks associated with the companies mid-long-term vision for the region.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Sales Responsibilities (40% of the role)</u></strong></p><p>• Execute and support with the development of regional and specific customer sales strategies, which will include providing presentations to current and perspective clients.</p><p>• Ensuring the timely submission of tender bids and spot offers, which involves coordination and support from company’s international subsidiaries & suppliers across the value chain. whilst maintaining adherence to companies internal control processes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Experience:</u></strong></p><p>· Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience within Oil & Gas industry in a Sales / Proposals role.</p><p>· Strong knowledge of Contracts execution & negotiation.</p><p>· Experience in Middle East region is mandatory.</p><p>· Bachelor Degree.</p><p>· Good technical & sales background.</p><p>· Self-driven with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, organized with good time/schedule management.</p><p>· Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint experience is a bonus.</p><p>· Ability to speak Arabic is an added advantage but not a requirement.</p><p> </p><p><strong><u>Salary & Benefits</u></strong><u>:</u></p><p>· Salary up to AED 28,000 per month + Yearly Bonus (to be discussed during screening).</p><p>· Single Status – Visa / Medical / Insurance for Self only.</p><p><br></p><p>If this sounds like you then we are keen to hear from you.
