Assistant Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer you are responsible for the security and safety of our guests, colleagues assets and property.

What you will be doing:

– Assists in fire and evacuation drills for all employees.
– Conducts training programs for security personnel and others.
– Counsels subordinates in personal and work-related matters
– Keeps oneself updated of the latest security systems and fire detection and prevention techniques and equipment.
– Ensures services provided by the Security are always available and are always carried out to defined standards with the utmost efficiency, consistency and courtesy as detailed in the Department Operation Manual.
– Ensures safety and security of the resort by preventing entry of unauthorized persons and/or material.
– Regularly recommends improvements in all surveillance and fire systems in the resort.
– Ensures the safety and security of guests, employees and all property by providing constant vigil in and around the resort.
– Responsible for maintenance of all records and documents as per organizational requirements (e.g. gate passes, etc.).
– Ensures all the key areas are always manned for constant security.
– Responsible for security office core operation as per organizational policy.
– Ensures that all the organizational policies, rules and regulations are adhered to.
