Located in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, within walking distance to Souq Waqif, Museum of Islamic Art and a short distance to the business district, West Bay.<p><br></p>At Mandarin Oriental, Doha we welcome colleagues with the passion to deliver the best service and exceed our guest’s expectations.<p><br></p><strong><u>Main Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>To hold a daily briefing meeting with the reservations team and duty manager to communicate daily business performance, changes to trend and selling strategies and all other relevant information such as new packages or promotions</li><li>To support the day to day running of the Reservations office answering revenue related queries from the Reservations Manager / Reservations team</li><li>To ensure all incoming enquiries are dealt with on the same day, and that all office administration, in-tray, emails, filing and correspondence is cleared on a daily basis</li><li>To ensure that assigned all tasks and queries are responded to on a daily basis to ensure a smooth efficient running department</li><li>To support the Reservations team in resolving queries generated from the arrival checks prior to arrival, on a daily basis</li><li>To ensure all commission and accounts queries are dealt with effectively</li><li>To communicate daily with the Guest Relations and Front of House departments</li><li>To support the Reservations Manger ensuring that all reservations are accurately recorded with correct market segments, source codes and phone in codes</li><li>To ensure training is carried out on an ongoing basis and standards are monitored to continually increase the performance and effectiveness of the team</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Graduate with a minimum of a Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 4 years study in Hospitality or related field</li><li>Previous work experience in Reservations or Revenue Analyst or similar position</li><li>Previous work experience in a 5-star hotel environment</li><li>Excellent knowledge on computer systems i.e. Excel and MS Office applications</li><li>Prior experience with PMS, TravelClick and a Rate shopper is a plus</li><li>Organised, strong follow up and time management stills</li><li>Ability to quickly understand figures and adapt to new situations</li></ul><p><br></p>If you are interested in joining our team apply today!
