<p><strong>Role Purpose: </strong></p><p><br></p><p>The Assistant Retail Manager is responsible to supervise and assist the retail manager in the whole process of stores’ operations and performance, over and above, overseeing the function of the Ops department in coordination with the RTL, RM and Shared Services. He/ she is responsible to drive sales and customer experience through the performance and development of the sales team. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p><p><strong><span class=”ql-cursor”> </span></strong></p><ul><li>Analyze relevant KPIs, propose action plans and corrective measures. As well as, review historical sales figures, market trends and demographics and work closely with the RM on setting achievable and realistic targets. Pro-actively contribute to the development and execution of the overall retail department strategy, plans and departmental budgets. Review sales and stock reports by store and liaise with the brand managers to propose action plan, to maximize stock potential and ensure right stock assortments and stock health. Ensure customer service standards are achieved through action plans and on-going development and training of the store managers and teams in inventory management process, and operational procedure; as well as, provide guidance and support to store managers to ensure effective and efficient flow of work Develop strategy to drive sales by monitoring market seasonality, buying trends and ensuring up to date knowledge of the retail industry including competitor, retail partners’ performance and consumer trends/behavior Conduct store operations audits to ensure operational compliance in all stores; over and above, ensure that stock control/ shrinkage targets are maintained in line with company guidelines Interface cross-functionally with colleagues and mall management to ensure stores and business requirements are fulfilled and strategies are aligned and successfully executed Ensure sales targets and action plans are clearly communicated to the sales team and ensure readiness in the team towards the achievement of the assigned targets.
