Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the west crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The interior of the resort is inspired by the ancient palaces of Turkey and features hand-painted finishings, Turkish artworks and stunning murals inspired by the Golden Age of the Ottoman Empire. The resort offers 405 rooms and suites, 38 Royal Residences and the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest and most luxurious spas in the Middle East. The resort offers Sinbad’s Kids Club complete with splash park, nightlife destination Music Hall and a collection of eight diverse restaurants which offer a vibrant selection of culinary experiences. About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen As Assistant Manager – Human Capital to join the team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • In conjunction with the HRD leading Talent acquisitions (Direct Report: HR Director).
  • Supporting to streamline the process considering the given target on hire.
  • Providing 100% Compliance on recruitment process, as per policies and procedures of the company as well as per UAE Labour Law.
  • Take responsibility for the recruitment and selection of all colleagues in order to ensure effective hiring decisions with hands-on involvement at senior management level.
  • Understand and follow the entire Tawheel process with regular auditing of data to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Involvement in monthly Manning Forecast, Onboarding new Joiners in HR as well as all
  • Manage and oversees Onboarding and new joiners journey and recommend the best practice .
  • Ensure that the hotel’s workforce planning tool is up to date and accurate in order to advise Executive committee managers on workforce planning.
  • Partnering with central functional HR teams to ensure specific needs of the hotels are met.
  • Ensuring Engagement is driven on hotel level including driving the Colleague Engagement Survey on property.
  • Manage hotel vacation plan and ensure that it aligned with business needs.
  • Support departmental managers to conduct disciplinary meetings and investigations in line with legislative and company guidelines.
  • Regularly analyse and review HR statistics to identify trends so that attention can be directed to key issues and resources adjusted accordingly.
  • In deep understanding of staff accommodation
  • In deep understanding of HR Government services
  • Drive annual appraisal, salary review, career interviews, HR reviews and successions planning activity in alignment with Talent Management strategies and processes.
  • Contribute and drive the success and achievement of people KPI and target.
  • In depth understanding of Talent management circle and supporting driving the process.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of Two years’ experience in similar role is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Talent acquisitions with proven record.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Ability to work in a team, initiative, creativity, flexibility, mature personality, flexible, team player, customer service oriented.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume, with resort environment.
