"Purpose: \n\nAssistant Dispatcher is responsible to dispatch vehicles in a safe, objective-driven, and economical manner and organizes drivers’ assignments\n\nFunctional general responsibilities:\n\nACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\tIndependently works to ensure that the fleet is used in a rational manner.\n\tOrganizes and plans drivers’ duties and assignments, dispatches the assign vehicles.\n\tMonitors and records vehicle use and fuel consumption.\n\tKeeps tracks of all vehicle’s movements using satellite tracking system/speed cast.\n\tAnalysis and mitigates risks (vehicle looting \u0026amp; safety hazards) in dangers locations.\n\tTakes all necessary steps to implement the delegation security rules.\n\tOrganise the daily car attribution during and after working hours.\n\tKeep the communication flow with all the fleet customers of the delegation, outlook.\n\tMaintain written communication with the various departments involved in the field activities i.e. logistics, warehouse, assistance, protection, welcome, HOD by outlook.\n\n\nPEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\tUnderstands and supervises the Performance Management \u0026amp; Development (PMD) activities for employees under their supervision\n\tMakes sure that deadlines for the PMD cycle are met\n\tEngages in ongoing and continuous feedback and support, particularly for employees under their supervision, but also other staff members\n\n\nGENERAL DUTIES\n\n\n\tUnderstands and adheres to the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement\n\tUnderstands and adheres to the ICRC Code of Conduct\n\tUnderstands the roles of the components of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement\n\tRespects and observes staff regulations and security rules at all times\n\tRepresents the ICRC in a professional manner at all times\n\tDevelops and maintains a pleasant and conducive working environment with colleagues and line managers\n\tPerforms all duties with the highest level of confidentiality in the interest of the employees and the ICRC\n\tMay be asked to perform tasks not covered in this job description and to provide support to other departments when necessary\n\n\n \n\nPROFESSIONAL EXPERINCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED \n\n\n\tTwo years’ experience in a similar field.\n\tGood knowledge of the area of assignment.\n\tFamiliarity with all terrain, vehicles, and VHF radio\n\tStrong knowledge of MS office.\n\tStrong Command in both English and Arabic langue’s; spoken, written, and reading.\n\n\n \n\nInterested to join?
