<p>A well known international insurance firm is currently looking for a qualified Assistant Commercial Manager to be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the company’s activities including but not limited to business development, business renewals, sales, marketing, bids and proposals, publicity, communications and support to clients’ maintenance In the market – the business operations extends throughout the GCC region, thus the successful candidate might be asked to travel to Kuwait for example to support with commercial activities if needed.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Duties to include but are not limited to:</u></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and source new business through market awareness and thorough understanding of business trends and competition;</li><li>Develop new business by identifying opportunities of growth and cross selling with existing clients.</li><li>Organize, track and report all new and existing business and commercial activities;</li><li>Support, review and follow up quotations, proposals and&nbsp;tenders;</li><li>Negotiate new contracts, renew existing portfolio and provide solution to improve unprofitable contracts or to solve problems and conflicts related to payments or accounting;</li><li>Coordinate with other departments (Administrations, Finance, Operations, IT) the processes related to his/her commercial activity.</li><li>Acquire and maintain a reasonable understanding of underwriting techniques and procedures;</li><li>Manage and coordinate Company’s commercial and marketing activities in all the sector the company covers ;</li><li>Monitor, manage all relationships with customers and establish and maintain a Customer Relationship Management system; Salesforce is a plus</li><li>Creating and maintaining a client’s data base.</li><li>Develop, manage and execute the strategic business plan of all Commercial products;</li><li>Conduct presentations, prepare routine progress reports and ensure proactive communication of business development activities;</li><li>Represent Company at business and technical conferences, executive forums and tradeshows to gather market intelligence and promote Company;</li><li>Any other job or task directly related with the commercial activities of the company.</li><li>Undertake ad hoc tasks as and when required by commercial director&nbsp;but always related to the commercial activities of the company</li><li>Prepare legal documentation ( reinsurance&nbsp;Contract, service Contract ..)&nbsp;</li><li>To undertake any other duty or responsibility that may reasonably be requested from the Commercial Manager.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>3 years of experience in INSURANCE B2B sales </li><li>Excellent Sales skills, &amp; Client oriented personality</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Preferably Bahraini National</li></ul>
