Join one of the leading global online food ordering and delivery marketplaces!<br><br></strong>We are looking for a Assistant Category Manager to join the Commercial team on our journey to always delivering amazing experiences.<br><br><strong><u>Your Mission<br><br></u></strong>Responsible for the profitability and development by leading and Managing the Commercial Department so as to achieve<br><br>commercial top &amp; below line targets, in line with the company’s mission and vision, by managing day to day activities, planning,<br><br>developing, implementation of the commercial strategies, and ensuring projects and deliverables are on time as committed<br><br><strong><u>Your Heroic Duties And Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li> Assist category manager in negotiation with supplier for BDA &amp; Non-BDA agreements.</li><li>Assist category manager in Identify SKUs, Negotiate, Implement and Manage promotion income to achieve<br></li></ul>Company’s customer growth targets.<br><ul><li>Assist category manager in implementing the strategy of pricing to ensure that the prices are competitive, and profits<br></li></ul>are maximized.<br><ul><li>Assist category manager to maintain category margin and contribution value.</li><li>Ensure the implementation of the plans on near expiry items for non-returnable items.</li><li>Developing and maintaining successful relations with suppliers to get the best services.</li><li>Assist category manager to negotiate with suppliers for frequent delivery to improve the inventory turns, service<br></li></ul>level and commercial margin.<br><ul><li>Implement the promo plan and activities for category profits and extra income.</li><li>Evaluate supplier performance by service Level, Commercial Margin, Assortment etc.</li><li>Involved with category manager in periodical meeting with the supplier to evaluate previous performance.</li><li>Assist category manager in sourcing, listing, and launching new assortment.</li><li>Ensure the implementation of the promotions and marketing activities with the marketing department.</li><li>Ensure to share and communicate the campaign results, tax invoices for compensation and marketing elements.</li><li>Work Hand in Hand with operations to solve issues related to the receiving, cost prices, and suppliers’ management.</li><li>Focal point of contact between vendors and internal functions.</li><li>Assist category manager in day-to-day tasks.</li><li>Other duties as requested. <br></li></ul><strong><u>Your Heroic Skills<br></u></strong><ul><li>Demonstrated understanding of retail industry and category trends</li><li>Strong negotiation skills to achieve the best commercial deals &amp; profit from suppliers.</li><li>Efficiently using computerized programs to manage items performances, reports and analysis.</li><li>Ability to build successful relationships with all parties of the supply chain network.</li><li>Problem solving and process management skills.</li><li>Attention to details.</li><li>Communication skills<br></li></ul><strong><u>Nice To Have<br></u></strong><ul><li>Minimum experience of 2 years in retail industry. <br></li></ul><strong>Why Delivery Hero?<br><br></strong><strong><u>About Us<br><br></u></strong>Delivery Hero is building the next generation global on-demand delivery platform.
