Assembly Operator – Aftermarket

Job Description

<ul><li>Capability of handling and assemble centrifugal pumps (vertical and horizontal types)</li><li>Ability of using and reading measurements tools; micrometers, calibers, dial indicators…etc.)</li><li>Maintain projects assembly records during the process.</li><li>PACKAGING: Pump Units Packaging, implying: alignment, Base Plate Marking, drilling &amp; Tapping, piping assembly.</li><li>PUMP REPAIR: dismantling, inspection, repair recommendations of single and multi-stages HP Pumps.</li><li>Occasionally assist for Field service activities at customer’s site location</li><li>Work with QA to develop service and or repair procedures</li><li>Develop of Technical and products knowledge in order to assist customers with their requirements.</li><li>Develop junior assemblers.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Position Requirements</strong><p><br></p><strong> Experience: </strong><p><br></p>5 years Minimum in rotating equipment PREFERABLE Pumps<p><br></p><strong> Skills/ Knowledge: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret international standard, customer specification and technical procedures,</li><li>Knowledge of pump technology.</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Ability to perform tasks individually and within groups.</li><li>Knowledge of the corrective action process</li><li>Experience in centrifugal pumps or rotating equipment</li><li>Hands on experience in service/ repair/over haul</li><li>Capable of executing duties with limited supervision</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Competencies/Traits: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bold thinking</li><li>Collective know how</li><li>Impeccable character</li></ul>
