Job Description
As an ASO Specialist at Tamatem – in the gaming industry, your primary responsibility is to optimize mobile gaming applications’ visibility and performance on various app stores, such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your expertise will be crucial in driving organic downloads, increasing user engagement, and maximizing revenue for gaming companies. You will work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to implement strategies that improve app store rankings and attract the right audience.
Key Responsibilities:
App Store Optimization (ASO):
● Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for the gaming app.
● Optimize app titles, descriptions, and other metadata using targeted keywords to improve discoverability.
● Analyze and adjust the app’s icon, screenshots, and preview videos to enhance visual appeal and conversion rates.
● Monitor and update ASO strategies regularly based on industry trends and platform algorithm changes.
● Collaborate closely with the product teams to implement strategies aimed at improving app ratings and reviews.
● Identify opportunities to engage with users and encourage them to leave positive reviews and ratings within the app.
Competitor Analysis:
● Research and analyze competing gaming apps to identify areas for improvement and potential growth opportunities.
● Benchmark the app’s performance against competitors and develop strategies to gain a competitive edge.
Performance Analytics:
● Utilize app analytics tools (e.g., Data.ai, Sensor Tower) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as downloads, user retention, and revenue.
● Generate reports on ASO efforts and provide actionable insights to enhance app performance.
A/B Testing:
● Design and execute A/B tests for various app store elements to optimize conversion rates and user acquisition.
● Analyze the test results and implement the most effective changes.
Collaboration:
● Collaborate with the marketing team to align ASO strategies with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
● Work closely with the product and development teams to implement changes and improvements based on ASO insights.
● Work in tandem with the design team to ensure app store assets are visually appealing and optimized for maximum impact
Stay Updated:
● Keep abreast of industry best practices, algorithm changes, and emerging trends in mobile gaming and ASO.
● Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster continuous improvement.
