Furthermore, overseeing the strategic development for the region and ensuring that the business meets its business and financial objectives, whilst exhibiting effective leadership behaviors to manage the team, adhering to best practice principles and BI’s standard operational procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate will manage and plan the development of resources necessary for sustained of the business results. Working proactively to influence the external environment in accordance with company’s core values and global strategies and additionally also find ways within the Boehringer Ingelheim to create opportunities for developing the business in this region in a responsible and compliant manner.<p><br></p>Local job grade: 6<p><br></p><strong>Tasks & Responsibilities:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Business Commercial & Financial performance (sales, forecast, budget, profitability)</li><li>Business planning</li><li>Sales management</li><li>Distributors & stakeholder management</li><li>People development & management<br><br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in health care field </li><li>2-3 years of management experience in the NWA in Animal Health Industry</li><li>6 years + Leadership experience </li><li>Broad knowledge of Animal Health Industry with focus on Avian & Ruminant focus </li><li>Sound understanding of finance topics.</li><li>Some basic technical / product knowledge</li><li>People management skills</li><li>Fluency in English, French and Arabic, oral and written.</li><li>Analytical Thinking and Working & Influencing Skills & Customer Orientation & Planning & Organization & Solid Decision making & Advanced Negotiation skills & Strategic thinking / Focus & Strong and Effective Communication & Intercultural Intelligence & Empath</li><li>Minimum meets in the last performance appraisal<br><br></li></ul>
