Archer- Software Engineer 2
The RSA® Archer® GRC Platform supports business-level management of enterprise governance, risk and compliance (GRC). The platform allows you to adapt a broad range of solutions to your requirements, build new business processes, and integrate with external systems without touching a single line of code. These businesses have seized the power of the Platform to make RSA Archer solutions their own, modeling additional business processes in a fraction of the time it would take to develop traditional custom applications.
Responsible for the root cause analysis, development, and testing of product issues identified by customers with Archer GA product versions. Applies Agile Kanban process for the prioritization and management of customer issues. Works across constituent teams – Customer Support, Services, Product Management, Documentation – to drive the quality and adoption of the product in the field. An understood sense of urgency in applying continuous engineering to constantly improve the customer experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise in software development tools, techniques, and best practices
Work independently to drive issue remediation for critical customer escalations
Work across functional and geographically distributed teams seamlessly
Assess, diagnose, prioritize, and resolve critical customer issues meeting defined SLAs.
Function in a high performance, customer driven environment by utilizing time management and prioritization skills.
Apply agile scrum and Kanban practices for continuous engineering
Understand and apply CE best practices and quality standards
Productive and agile individual contributor
Develop subject matter expertise for specific functional and technical areas of the product.
Work directly with customers to isolate and remediate issues in complex deployments.
Understanding of the full development life-cycle from design, through implementation, qualification, and delivery
Ability to estimate work in sufficient granularity to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Work with distributed teams in a collaborative and agile model to deliver patch releases to field on a defined cadence.
Skills:
Strong product/technical/industry knowledge
Archer GRC experience
Expertise in C#, .NET, Java, Javascript (e.g EXT-JS, React)
AWS development and maintenance
AWS Certification a plus.
Background in multi-tiered enterprise applications
Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
Time management and estimation skills
Communication and facilitation skills
Agile scrum and Kanban
SQL Server or other relational DB experience
Datadog system monitoring tools
Gitlab development, build pipeline, and source code management tools
Education and Experience:
Typically requires 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
