Job Description
<p><strong>Activities and End-Purpose</strong></p><ul><li>Develop the detailed project schedule and plan to ensure timely completion of the project and to monitor and track progress.</li><li>Obtain management and client agreement with the project plan and timeline, and advise of any obstacles or resource needs that may affect completion of the project as planned.</li><li>Assemble the project team, identify competencies, and assign resources to development tasks appropriate to each individual’s knowledge, skill, and abilities.</li><li>Apply project management tools and tracking systems to manage all aspects of project progress.</li><li>Utilize project resources and serve as an individual contributor to develop programming code or software modifications using appropriate languages and tools to optimize resources and meet functional user requirement.</li><li>Utilize project resources and serve as an individual contributor to analyze user system and application needs, determine and evaluate potential solutions, develop system specifications and requirements, and design application programs to meet the requirements.</li><li>Utilize project resources and serve as an individual contributor to structure, implement, and maintain database systems.</li><li>Establish policies, standards and procedures to ensure useful and readily accessible data.</li><li>Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.</li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation: technical, operational and functional.</li><li>Manage current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track</li><li>Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, minutes of meetings and emails</li><li>Work closely with the Solution Provider implementation team according to the project plan, and provide prompt response during the implementation phases from inception to production.</li><li>Manages local key-users’ incidents \ change requests using the Saint-Gobain ticketing tool and propose relevant solution and if needed escalates to project management team or system provider.</li><li>Performs System Adjustments to meet business needs and ensure appropriate controls and audit logs are in place.</li><li>Assist and be involved in all project phases implementation: Requirements gathering, system setup, user acceptance test, end users training, business simulation, Cut-Over, Go-Live and Go-Live Support.</li><li>Performs periodic maintenance and servicing of applications by planning, coordinating, testing, and communicating changes, upgrades / maintenance schedules, and new services with IT infrastructure and key users, ensuring business operations will operate correctly in current and future environments.</li><li>Monitor, update, and maintain existing systems interfaces to ensure that the interfaces exchange data properly and to support the current legacy environment.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications and experience required</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor degree in IT related field.</li><li>Master Degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles.</li><li>Proven working experience in project management.</li><li>Good command of Arabic and English. French is a plus.</li><li>Solid organizational skills, including attention to details – multitasking in a fast-paced environment and time- management with the ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Expertise and experience in ERP application. Knowledge in Payroll regulations and laws is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of Web Services and Services Oriented Architecture is desirable and should be experienced with SQL Query Development, crystal report, SQL server integration services, VBA.</li><li>Knowledge in SAP Business One.</li><li>Documentation management, ability to use project management tools and strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office</li></ul>
