Inviting applications for the role of AP Accounting – Management Trainee – English – On Site Cairo!

Responsibilities
• Processing accounts and incoming AP invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording AP data.
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Being responsible for financial accounting & reporting, month-end closing activities.
• Review and adjust general ledger, bank reconciliation, suppliers debit balances and transactions records.
• Assist with maintaining client records and confidentiality, as well as, recalling invoices for internal and external audits.
• Review/Amend tax values whenever required according to regional regulations. And work closely with auditors, tax advisors.
• Develop and document business processes and AP policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Preparation of changes to vendor master data and doing any required amendments.
• Follow up and guide business users to finalize any pending records and tasks that may cause delayed payments.
• Manage client’s Early payment workflows and Prepayment workflows.
• Coordinate with Lean Digital transformation team for project opportunities that will improve the overall process automation.
• Document, process and fill all incoming and outgoing mail correspondences and handle ongoing suppliers/business queries.
• Assist with daily tasks as assigned.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/Business administration or equivalent.
• Previous solid experience with Accounts Payables.
• Excellent command of English language (Advanced proficiency is a MUST).
• Customer oriented mindset & able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and execution oriented.
