<p>We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our clients’ beloved pets. Your primary goal will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of the animals while delivering high-quality grooming services. This role requires excellent grooming techniques, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine love for animals.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Perform grooming services, including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, nail clipping, and ear cleaning, according to client preferences and breed standards.</li><li>Assess the condition of pets’ coats, skin, and overall health, and recommend appropriate grooming techniques and products.</li><li>Handle and restrain animals in a safe and compassionate manner, ensuring their comfort and minimizing stress during grooming sessions.</li><li>Communicate with clients to understand their grooming needs and provide guidance on grooming options and pet care.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including proper sanitization and maintenance of grooming tools and equipment.</li><li>Monitor pets’ health and behavior during grooming sessions, promptly reporting any concerns or unusual observations to the supervisor or pet owner.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate grooming records.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, industry trends, and pet care practices through continuous learning and professional development.</li></ul><li><br></li><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in grooming techniques for different breeds and species.</li><li>Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards, coat types, and common health issues in pets.</li><li>Strong handling skills and the ability to ensure the safety and well-being of animals during grooming sessions.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with pet owners and colleagues.</li><li>Passion for animals and a compassionate approach to handling and caring for them.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.</li><li>Knowledge of basic pet first aid and the ability to recognize signs of distress or health problems.</li><li>Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional certifications in pet grooming or animal care are a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p>
