Currently, we are seeking an AIRFREIGHT ACC SPECIALISTIn this role, the successful candidate is to:

Key Responsibilities

  • To plan and execute import/export shipments and to ensure that its operations run efficiently through application of ocean.
  • To efficiently manage operational exchange with Sales team for achievement of desired customer satisfaction.

  • Support the execution of plans and processes to implement the AFR pricing strategy.
  • Assist in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner.
  • Execute tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations.
  • Support the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs.
  • Prepare and submit relevant documents for tenders.
  • Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries.
  • Build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines.
  • Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets
  • Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development.
  • May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions.
  • Identify and resolve recurring issues and suggest modifications to AFR pricing methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others
  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
  • Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function.
  • Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders’ interests and concerns.

Job Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • More than 2 Years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
  • Good communication
  • Good English, French and Arabic Both Written and Spoken
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels.
  • Ability to use initiative and be a self-starter.
