Job Responsibilities
- Daily follow-up on any pending Air shipment (export, import )
- Will be responsible for the day to day operational tasks
- will ensure that all customers‘ freight arrives on time
- Liaising with overseas offices
- Handling bookings with agents & airlines
- Monitoring shipments and keeping clients updated on progress/any delays
- Handling import/export documentation
- Liaising with clients/carriers on arranging collections
- Raising invoices to clients accurately and in a timely fashion
- Ensure all shipment documents are attached to the FTS as per the policy
- Coordinate with Dispatchers to ensure all shipments are picked up or delivered as per time frames agreed with CMTs and carriers
- Follow up with carriers that all shipments are received or dispatch as per set schedule
- Make sure that system is up-dated with all shipments docs & status as per system’s requirments
Job Requirements:
- +2 years of experienced in Air In import & Export freight forwarding
- Language skills: excellent knowledge of English in writing is a must
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiar with airline booking
- Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Incoterms
- Familiar with customs import & export procedures
- Prepared to complete the entire job, from file creation to invoicing
- Gender : Male or Female
- Bachelor Degree in Marine Transport or logistics field is an advantage
