Job Description
- Develop and implement equipment and mechanization strategies to optimize farm operations.
- Manage and maintain farm equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and other machinery.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for farm equipment.
- Manage and oversee the repair and maintenance of farm equipment & Pivots. Also, the welding, Electrical, Manufacture workshops.
- Develop and implement equipment training programs for staff and operators.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement equipment replacement plans to ensure the farm has the latest and most efficient equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment is available and ready for use when needed.
- Manage equipment budgets and ensure expenditures are within the allocated budget.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in farm equipment and mechanization, and apply them to improve farm operations.
