Without a dedicated workforce, Caterpillar could not effectively meet our customer’s needs.<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Duties/Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p>This position plays a key sales lead and coordination role with Dealers, Customers, and Caterpillar. You will be accountable for sales in your territory and drive dealer development. You will contribute to the identification, analysis, and resolution of needs and problems arising in the assigned territories.<p><br></p>Challenges include delivering strong sales results in a highly competitive market, engaging the dealer in current products and new technologies, and overcoming barriers to sales growth by considering and recommending alternative courses of action. You will make timely decisions and develop greater market coverage/awareness of Caterpillar as a supplier of Large Electric Power Solutions while maximizing customer value.<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities Include</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Meet and exceed targets for Aftermarket offerings sales. </li><li> Focus on Services Growth at point of sale. </li><li> Lead Dealers in closing Large Electric Power aftermarket deals, collaborating with dealers and internal partners to develop and promote propositions that maximize customer value </li><li> Effectively manage sales variance and pricing support programs to grow prime product sales while meeting price realization objectives </li><li> Analyzing and communicating marketplace and competitive activity internally </li><li> Understanding product application, configuration, and utilization that provide the best solution and value for a customer </li><li> Work closely with dealers to assess and develop their sales, marketing, and technical capabilities and capacity to address the needs of the Large Electric Power Solutions business </li><li> Managing and keeping Caterpillar’s internal CRM current with accurate, quality information – Tracking projects by stage </li><li> Assisting Dealers grow Caterpillars industry share of Large Electric Power Solutions and products sales </li><li> Develop strong industry knowledge of the Electric Power business in a fast-moving global industry, using commercial key marketing and technical skills to maximize customer value and differentiate Caterpillar from the competition </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications And Experience</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of power generation or background </li><li> Minimum 5 years of aftermarket/power generation. </li><li> Relevant experience in field assignments, sales, or working with Customers in the Middle East and Africa regions. </li><li> Proficiency to present formal sales and technical cases to dealers, customers, and end-users. </li><li> Experience in influencing and networking at multiple levels. </li><li> Experience with data management and analysis. </li><li> Demonstrated ability to work independently on increasingly more complex assignments. </li><li> Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. </li><li> Fluent in English and Arabic. </li><li> Must be willing to travel (up to +30%). </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Beneficial</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Strong technical and commercial understanding and experience of Diesel / Gas power generation products. </li><li> Professional experience in Aftermarket. </li><li> Asset Management / Connected Assets knowledge and experience. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Additional Information</u></strong><p><br></p>Please frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
