<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:<br></strong>• Manage a team composed of maintainers and technicians.<br>• Monitor the activity of its employees and support them, to help them achieve the goals set<br>• Be responsible for respecting the safety rules in the team.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:<br></strong>• Coordinate the work of the team (plan priorities, optimize the adequacy of needs and resources, train, manage<br>conflicts…)<br>• Inform and communicate (create and maintain relationships with team, relaying and disseminating information, givingmeaning and explaining the decisions or solutions made)<br>• Support and listen (answer the questions asked and inform their line manager, create and maintain a climate of trustwithin the team, support their team and promote know-how)<br>• Motivate the team<br>• Manage human, material and financial resources (assess and contribute to the development of operators’ skills during annual interviews, contribute to the development of the training plan, etc.)<br>• Monitor and control the activity (involve the agents in the analysis of results, identify corrective measures to rectify deviations from production …)<br>• Ensure technical support regarding the AFC indoor and outdoor and other subjects related to the maintenance<br>• Manage the production quality<br>• Ensure the safety of people (workers and passengers) and property<br>• Search all useful information in the event of a reported or unreported damage<br>• Troubleshooting the train<br>• Reporting and ensuring traceability (informing all those concerned, informing the IT databases, writing reports)<br>• Ensure technical coordination between the various maintenance departments<br>• Manage the site and logistics (keep documentation up to date, manage stocks, take corrective or preventive measures)<br>• Monitor and analyze the behavior of trainsets (anomalies or damage, etc.), operating conditions.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE &amp; EXPERIENCE<br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br></strong>• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>KNOWLEDGE:<br></strong>• AFC maintenance (light maintenance and/or heavy maintenance (overhaul))<br>• Electricity, mechanics, electronics, pneumatics<br>• Troubleshooting methods<br>• Management Lean manufacturing<br>• Maintenance Production<br>• Team Management<br>• Change Management<br>• Safety management (OHS acts).<br>• Advance technical knowledge<br>• MMS such Maximo.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>EXPERIENCE:<br></strong>• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Railway industry.<br>• Spent at least 5 years in the AFC maintenance environment.<br>• Have an experience in the change management culture.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>DESIRED BEHAVIORS:<br></strong>• Management skills<br>• Ability to communicate with staff of all levels<br>• Ability to supervise and control<br>• Possess analytical and critical ability<br>• Possess leadership quality<br>• Negotiation and decision-making ability<br>• Innovative, creative and strategic thinking<br>• Possess self-drive and enthusiasm<br>• Problem solving ability<br>• English – fluent in speaking, reading and Arabic will be nice<br><br></p>
