<p>ICU Dietitian</p><p> <strong>Vacancy Title:</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Post Level:</strong></p><p> Bachelor degree in Clinical Nutrition/ Human Nutrition + Specialist diploma in ICU nutrition or equivalent certificate </p><p> <strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li> Assesses nutritional status and requirements of adults (critical cases) by obtaining, analyzing. And interpreting information such as diet history, laboratory data, medical history, diagnosis, treatment, ets.</li><li>Monitors and adjusts the nutrition care plan. Evaluates the nutrition plan through follow-up to determine the achievement of goals and outcomes. Adjust the plan as necessary.</li><li>Participates in patient care round and long-term care interdisciplinary rounds to determine the appropriateness of nutritional intervention. Also participates in daily consultations with medical team to contribute to the overall care plan for patients.</li><li>Educate junior doctors on electrolytes replacement, prokinetic agents, bowel management, and feeding complications.</li><li>Provides nutritional counseling through individual, team, or group sessions to provide the knowledge, skills, resources and support necessary. And educate families on continuing good nutrition at home.</li><li>Training and education all stuff and students (trainees) and providing them with sufficient experience.</li></ul><p> </p><p> <strong>Job Duties Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> At least 2-3 years’ experience in Critical illness nutrition/ ICU</p><p> <strong>Experience: </strong></p><p> Military &amp; Security Medical City</p><p> <strong>Location:</strong></p><p> Based on Oman Medical Bylaw (to be translated/linked) </p><p> <strong>Salary</strong></p>
