Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D or Masters in Computer Science or a related computing major. The successful candidate is expected to teach the following undergraduate labs: Computer Programming (C++ and Python), Machine Learning, Data Communications and Networking. All classes and other campus activities are conducted only in English.

American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, invites applications for an adjunct faculty position beginning fall 2023 (mid-August). Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D or Masters in Computer Science or a related computing major. The successful candidate is expected to teach the following undergraduate labs: Computer Programming (C++ and Python), Machine Learning, Data Communications and Networking. All classes and other campus activities are conducted only in English.
Required Qualifications:
• Ph. D or Masters. in the area of Computer Science or a related computing major from an accredited institution of higher education
• Strong record of active engagement in research and scholarship, including recent publications
• University teaching experience
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines
• Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements
