Job Description
<strong><u>Description<br><br></u></strong>Milliman’s Dubai Health Practice is looking for an actuarial professional with <strong>more than 6 years</strong> of experience, who has a strong desire to expand their actuarial skills, is committed to obtaining Fellowship, and has a career goal of becoming an actuarial consultant.<br><br><strong><u>Educational Requirements<br></u></strong><ul><li>An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work,</li><li>A minimum of 10 actuarial exams with a recognized professional actuarial organization – preferably Associate level reached</li><li>Outstanding academic record</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)<br></li></ul><strong><u>Experience And Skill Requirements<br></u></strong><ul><li>Minimum 6 years of actuarial experience, with at least part of the experience in health-related work</li><li>Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability</li><li>Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products</li><li>Working knowledge of actuarial concepts specific to health systems, such as utilisation vs cost, clinical coding systems, Diagnosis-Related Groupers, value-based healthcare etc</li><li>Client facing experience, including drafting and reviewing of formal actuarial reports as well as presentation of technical content to senior stakeholders</li><li>Excellent communication (both written and verbal)</li><li>Good organizational skills</li><li>Willingness to learn</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li></ul>
