Alarabia Group has gained a solid market presence by marketing and distributing global brands (#Royal_Gas, #Simfer, and #Atlantic), as well as, assembling and distributing its popular brand “#Levon” which offers cost-effective and durable home & electrical appliances (heaters, screens, dispensers, blenders, etc.).

✳️Seeking to hire: Accounting Manager
✳️Job Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
– Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
– Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
– Apply Egyptian accounting standard and tax laws in accounting and insure to submit the tax reports to tax authority in official due dates .
– Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
– Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
– Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
– Work closely with sales department to apply company sales polices and review company profitability.
✳️Job Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CMA preferred.
– 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role in trading & manufacturing home appliances companies.
– ERP Odoo experience will be assist.
– Thorough knowledge of Egyptian accounting standard and tax laws.
– Proficient in English language.
– Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization.
– Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
– Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
– Previous experience in group companies with subsidiaries and sister company transaction.
– Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.
