<p><strong><u>Accounting and Finance Manager </u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Location:</u></strong><u> </u>Jounieh/Harissa- Lebanon</p><p><br></p><p><span>Capelli Sport / USA partnered with Fact Universal S.A.L. a Lebanese company that service and run our back offices in the United States, Germany, China and the MENA region. </span></p><p>We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.</p><p>The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.</p><p>** English language must be extremely proficient (Verbal, Reading, and Writing)</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><p>1- Reviews daily and monthly transactions, including journal entries, deposits and funds transfers, print checks.</p><p>2- Manage AP, AR, GL accounts, chart of accounts.</p><p>3- Responsible for Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations</p><p>4- Reconciles accounts and verifies accuracy, prepares financial statements, supporting documentation</p><p>5- Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems</p><p>6- Supporting the capital review, approval, forecasting, and project close-out process</p><p>7- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements</p><p>8- Plans, assigns and supervises the work of others. Provide training, coaching and feedback to direct reports</p><p>9- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.</p><p>10- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.</p><p>11- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.</p><p>12- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.</p><p>13- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.</p><p>14- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.</p><p>15- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p><p>1- Proven 10 years international experience as a Accounting or Financial Manager</p><p>2- BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics</p><p>3- Expertise with standard financial and accounting procedures and financial regulations</p><p>4- Strong ethics with a demonstrated ability to manage confidential data</p><p>5- Skilled in quantitative analysis, with a proficiency in utilization of Excel.</p><p>6- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns</p><p>7- Proficient user of finance software (SAP, QuickBooks etc…)</p><p>8- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills</p><p>9- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used</p><p>10- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles</p><p>11- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations</p><p>12- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus</p><p><br></p><p>Candidate should be willing to work based on American Standard Eastern Time zone. This is not a remote position.
