<strong>Requirements:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Accountant Payroll Officer or in a similar role.</li><li>Strong understanding of payroll processing procedures and relevant regulations.</li><li>Proficient in using Tally software for payroll processing.</li><li>Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.</li><li>Familiarity with tax laws, social security contributions, and other payroll-related regulations.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and calculations.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.</li><li>Good communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Professional certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar are a plus.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies, employment contracts, and legal requirements.</li><li>Calculate wages, salaries, deductions, and other adjustments based on attendance records, time sheets, and relevant payroll data.</li><li>Verify and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements related to payroll processing.</li><li>Maintain employee records, including personal information, payroll data, and tax-related documentation.</li><li>Prepare and distribute pay slips or statements to employees.</li><li>Handle inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and other payroll-related matters from employees and management.</li><li>Collaborate with HR personnel to ensure accurate employee data is captured for payroll processing.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements related to payroll, as required.</li><li>Perform periodic audits of payroll data to identify and rectify any discrepancies.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.</li><li>Provide support during internal and external audits related to payroll.<br></li></ul>
