Job Purpose

This position exists to take full responsibility of overall management of accountants payable team. Plan, develop ,execute and monitor its activities and related systems by optimum resources at efficient cost. Deliver as per company quality standards. Manage the risks and opportunities to bring the sub sections to a further step.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Review and post vendor invoices and initiate vendors payments
  • Review and post LC IBC SCF vendors prerequisites and payments
  • Review and post vendors down payments invoices and initiate vendors down payments
  • Review and post vendors credit notes.
  • Review and post petty cash invoices and initiate petty cash payment
  • Review and post Sadad payments and initiate Sadad payments
  • Review and follow to update vendors master data
  • Prepare monthly withholding tax report
  • Prepare VAT monthly report
  • Participate in monthly / semi-yearly and year-end closing activities for AP cycle.
  • Prepare periodic reconciliation with vendors

Role Accountability

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role of accounts payable supervisioin.
  • Very high communication skills both written and verbal, strong influencing, leadership skills, inter-personal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Team handling experience and excellent supervisory experience
  • Well-organized, mature, and hard-working and able to work independently under pressure
  • Advance in MS Excel (Functions and formulas, dashboard, Pivot table, Slicers, Pivot chart)
  • Advance in accounting and financial ratios
  • Fluency in Arabic and English languages, both written and spoken
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Full understanding of financial operating systems and procedures
  • Attention to details, strong analytical mind and problems solving skills, with good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Time management skills including ability to prioritize and organize work to maximize efficiency

Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance

Work Experience
Fresher – 0-2 years
