<p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Accountant:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>Overview:</p><p>As an Accountant in the travel and tourism sector, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines will be essential to maintaining the financial health of our organization.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>1-Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.</p><p>2-Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.</p><p>3-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.</p><p>4-Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.</p><p>5-Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations.</p><p>6-Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure proper cost allocation.</p><p>7-Manage the accounts payable process, including vendor invoices, payment processing, and reconciliation.</p><p>8-Assist in the preparation of tax returns, audits, and other regulatory filings.</p><p>9-Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Roles &amp; Requirements:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>1-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA designation preferred).</p><p>2-3 years proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in the travel and tourism sector.</p><p>3-Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.</p><p>4-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.</p><p>5-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively.</p><p>6-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.</p><p>7-Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.</p><p>8-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</p><p>9-Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax preparation is a plus.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Interested candidates please send your CV to this email address (recruitment@guarantee-tours.com)</li></ul><p><br></p>
