The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the F&B industry, along with a strong background in handling receivables and payables. Proficiency in ZOHO Accounting Software is required.<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.</li><li> Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.</li><li> Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.</li><li> Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.</li><li> Prepare and submit VAT returns and other financial compliance requirements.</li><li> Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash transactions.</li><li> Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.</li><li> Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.</li><li> Liaise with external auditors and assist in the preparation of financial statements.</li><li> Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient financial procedures.</li><li> Keep up-to-date with relevant accounting standards and regulations.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.</li><li> Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the F&B industry.</li><li> Strong knowledge of receivables and payables management.</li><li> Proficiency in ZOHO Accounting Software or similar accounting software.</li><li> Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li> Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li> Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.</li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li> Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is a plus.</li><li> Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is preferred but not mandatory.</li></ul><p><br></p>If you meet the above requirements and are looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
