<p>Al Ammar and Partners Electrical Co. (APeCO) is looking for a dynamic and experienced accountant to join the company. The ideal candidate will be involved with managing all accounting duties regarding day-to-day operations of the company. The candidate will prepare financial reports and statements for company partners. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform accounting duties while adhering to applicable financial regulations</li><li>Reconcile bank statement with general ledger entries</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records</li><li><span>Examine expenses submitted by employees</span></li><li><span>Prepare monthly payroll</span></li><li>Review customer payment history and make recommendations for credit limit adjustments </li><li>Create accurate and timely reports for management to help them gain visibility into company performance</li><li>Generate company financial statements: Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow</li><li>Analyze data and propose recommendations to help improve company financial metrics</li><li>Manage accounts receivable, follow up on invoices in order to improve Receivable Turnover</li><li>Manage accounts payable, correspond with suppliers and make timely wire transfers/payments via bank in order to secure supplier rebates</li><li>Support Purchase/Sales/Warehouse team in a timely fashion in all activities that involve finance: foreign/local purchase orders, inventory shipment receipts, inventory stock checking/adjustments, and customer sales activities.</li><li>Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts</li><li>Help maintain financial controls </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Skills Required/Desired:</strong></p><ul><li>Team player with strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Business acumen and interest</li><li>Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines</li><li>Dependable with strong work ethic</li><li>Detail-oriented</li><li>Analytical skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field</li><li>7+ years of experience as Accountant in Small or Medium size company</li><li>Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)</li><li>Experience in Microsoft Business Central a Plus</li></ul><p><br></p>
