<p>Kennedy Towers is a large short term rental property management company in the UAE. We manage properties on behalf of independent property owners and lease their properties to guests on a short-term, flexible basis. Kennedy Towers is searching for a passionate, enthusiastic, and positive individual with a proven track record to join our accounting team</p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p><ul><li>Record and segment booking revenue according to the nature of the channel and the relevant taxes, fees and commissions associated with each booking</li><li>Calculate and pay VAT, City Fees (DTCM Tourism Dirham) and other government fees associated with booking revenue</li><li>Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and develop an efficient system to ensure there are no outstanding balances due to the organization</li><li>Recording of receipts appropriately from the bank statements, cash collections and POS terminals</li><li>Conduct regular bank account reconciliation to make sure all accounts are updated</li><li>Month end reconciliations of relevant receivables accounts</li><li>Calculate and verify monthly sales commissions paid to sales agents</li><li>Monitor company revenue and ensure these are aligned with our property management systems, our customer relationship management systems and government taxation systems.</li><li>Assistance Preparing the Monthly Statement of Accounts for Landlords and the Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Experience using Quickbooks Accounting Software is Preferred</li><li>1-2 yearsβ Experience with Real Estate (Property Management) Preferred</li><li>3-5 yearsβ Work Experience within an Accounting Function</li><li>Experience producing accounting information for European markets is preferred</li><li>Accounting Qualification (ACCA) and Higher-Level Education Required</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>SALARY:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary: Between AED 4000 β AED 7000 per month based on experience.</li></ul>
