Summary:
The Accountant analyzes various transactions and prepares monthly quarterly & annual financial statements. They also run reports throughout the year that help them keep up with all aspects they’re responsible for on an ongoing basis. The accountant’s responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, finalizing financial audits, ensuring healthy financials, and processing payments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the companyβs financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Manage developer balances and owners.
