Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Managing a set of accounts in the allocated territory, including existing and new customers. Building and nurturing relationships within your network in the territory at multiple levels including key c-level relationships. Building and executing account plans – strategic engagements with all accounts. Managing and attaining the achievement of a set quota within the territory. Forecasting revenue from within the territory accurately and predictably. Interlocking and orchestrating resources from all support functions to ensure the execution of the territory plan. Working with the ecosystem to develop joint engagements and deal closures within the territory. Developing a marketing and demand generation plan within the territory.

Minimum Skills & Experience required

At least 6+ years successful track record of selling software/solutions the territory Ability to understand and position complex solutions offerings to businesses and technical stakeholders. Deep understanding of customers’ key challenges, particularly in a digital transformation context. Experience selling software based solutions into a specified territory, specifically into targeted new name accounts with deal sizes that range from £200K – £1M+ Prior industry experience within the Finance Sector is highly beneficial for this position

Team player and able to take direction from Sales leaders. Excellent presentation skills and interaction with internal/external customers Strong commercial acumen and negotiation abilities. Written and verbal communication skills. Time management skills. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Excellent understanding of your industry’s customers’ business, needs, challenges and expectations. Demonstrated understanding of market disciplines, competitive landscape and current technologies. Familiar with or experienced in one or more Sales frameworks e.g. MEDDIC/Spin Selling/Solution Selling
